We actively model an inclusive, sustainable community.
Beginning with how our organization is structured and continuing through how we learn and play together, our goal is to challenge ourselves, in our thoughts and our actions, to build a dynamic, sustainable community. Your involvement in this community as a volunteer, part of a committee or by planning and attending events, helps us all fulfill our mission.
We each contribute to the work of the church.
Our talents and skills are needed in small ways and large to keep our church functioning, and there are many ways to contribute to this work. We have numerous committees and volunteer opportunities which utilize our many talents and allow us a chance to give back to our church and to our larger community. Our Hour of Power ministry gives people the chance to invest an hour or two of time in order to further the work of the church. These are simple gifts that benefit both the giver and receiver and we welcome you to become involved.
We cultivate growth and celebrate the changes that growth brings.
Like all church communities, we often just get together for the fun of it. Some of our fellowship activities, like the 6300 Dinner Club and the Men's Potluck, happen on a regular basis. Others like our Souper Supper or Chill & Chat group occur on an annual basis and/or when the spirit moves! Look at the Events and Calendar pages to find those activities which might grab your attention.
