Membership Committee
The purpose of the Membership Committee is to help provide a welcoming social environment for members and friends. We help to connect church friends and members and assist staff with membership and hospitality classes. 

MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE ACTIVITIES

The Membership Committee will achieve its purpose by taking on responsibility for the following activities:

• Manage 4 x 4 dinners throughout the year.  These dinners are meant to connect current church members with new members. They meet in member’s homes at the convenience of the host.
• Manage and host the all-church potluck following the Water Communion Service, which marks the official beginning of the church year. The committee will identify newcomers, to invite to the potluck as special guests of the committee
• Manage and host a social gathering for new members following New Member Recognition Services.  
• Provide a themed basket for the annual church auction.
• Be mindful of our place in the larger Church family.
• Strive for clear communication with the office staff, minister and congregation.
