Break Barriers, Build Belief (B4) Workshop
Saturday, November 1 * 9:30 AM – 2:00 PM
Your Ministerial Search Committee encourages you to participate in the Break Barriers, Build Beliefs (B4) Workshop offered by the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) for congregations involved in the search for a new minister. The workshop is designed to promote inclusive thinking and help prevent discrimination in searching for a new minister. The workshop will be led by UUA-trained facilitator, Rev. Patrice Curtis.
The UCL Ministerial Search Committee invites all congregational leaders, members, and friends to attend. Registration is required. You can sign up with this link https://tinyurl.com/UCL-B4-Sign-Up or at the MSC table in the front hallway at church on Sunday mornings.
The selection of our next minister is important. The B4 workshop is another opportunity for members and friends of the church to participate in the process. We look forward to learning with you.
A light breakfast and lunch will be provided. Let us know if you need childcare.
Ministerial Search Focus Group Blitz Days
The Ministerial Search Committee (MSC) is conducting small group meetings to help us interpret some of the survey results that we will share at the meetings and gather additional information not easily included in a survey. This is your opportunity to share your thoughts and hopes for our new minister, as well as our church as a whole. We have been reaching out to individual committees and groups, and there are two "blitz day" dates that are open to anyone to attend.
BLITZ DAY: Monday October 6 from 7:00 to 8:00 PM in person
BLITZ DAY: Saturday October 18
Prior registration is not required for the in person blitz times, you can just show up. We encourage you to sign up through this link https://tinyurl.com/UCL-Small-Group-Sign-up or at the MSC table in the front hallway at church on Sunday mornings. Let us know if you need childcare.
