ANNIVERSARY FUND
The CIC (formerly known as LUF) created the Anniversary Club in 2017 as a way to:
What is the Anniversary Fund?
The CIC believes everyone can contribute to the church in their own way. To make it easier, we have started the Anniversary Fund! The Anniversary Fund is a way for church members to make a difference in the church by funding small projects.
Why?
Some of these projects could include groundskeeping needs, plumbing or electrical work, replacement of furnishings, or removal of dying trees. Many of them are items that have been neglected for a while. Some will be completely new projects yet undreamed of.
How does it work?
Every year on the Anniversary of your membership we will send you a card in recognition of all your have done for the church over the years. We will also send an envelope so that if you wish to help fund these small projects, you can send a small donation.
How do I participate?
Suggested donation is a dollar for every year you have been a member, your age, or any amount you would like to give. Contact a CIC Committee member for more information.
- Raise funds for facility and equipment enhancements that will help church committees perform their work.
- Celebrate members’ anniversaries in a personal manner.
- Instill pride in the church facilities and equipment through publishing/labeling contributions.
- The name was changed to the Anniversary Fund sometime before 2020.

An independent committee comprised of seven members of the church appointed by the Board of Trustees manages foundation investments.
The CIC assets are invested in socially responsible investments. There are many ways to give to the CIC. These include, but are not limited to:
Use the form to the right if you would like to communicate a planned gift to the Unitarian Church of Lincoln. This information will be kept confidential and only seen by the administrator and other financial officers. A member of the CIC board will contact you with any additional questions. |
