THE UNITARIAN CHURCH OF LINCOLN HOUSE BAND
Our House Band, called the A Street Band, draws from volunteers in the congregation to come together and play music that meets the moment. The band performs in diverse genres that draw from the world of secular music to underline and uplift our values. Drop in on a Third Thursday service and you might hear them playing funk and soul.
Then again you may find them out on the patio pickin' and grinnin' on some old-time gospel, or strumming some acoustic folk. If you are really lucky you might hear some original music written by the band members themselves. Whether it's playing with the church choir, holding court on Third Thursdays, or out in the community, the A Street Band seeks to connect people to the universe through whatever music will take them there.
