What is an All-Ages Service?
When an All-Ages Service is planned there will be no classes for children and youth (kindergarten through high school). Preschool care will be provided. All-Ages services are designed with kids in mind, incorporating more movement, activity, songs and stories that teach our UU Values and traditions in a way that speaks to them
Is childcare available after the service?
Extended care is available in the Preschool room until 12:30PM each Sunday when there are meetings on the calendar. Parents should bring their child(ren) to the room no later than 11:15AM (or immediately after service) so that childcare providers know they need to stay. Please sign children IN/OUT so that the providers know children are in their care. There are no structured activities during this time, only supervision. Please pick up your children no later than 12:30PM.
What is Youth In Action (YIA)?
Youth in Action is a Youth Group for Youths from 6th-12th grades. YIA is a group that focuses on building relationships, social justice, advocacy, current events and fun activities (art, gaming, parties) in a neuroaffirmative and lgbtq+ inclusive environment.
YIA Meets from 2:00-4:15 PM once a month. Check calendar for exact dates or SIGN UP to receive our weekly emails. Please contact Abby ([email protected]) for more details.

What do children usually do in their classes?
Our K-5 students typically follow a format similar to this:

- Check-ins
- Story
- Activity (movement, discussion, and/or craft)
Our classes always pull into focus our Seven Unitarian Universalist Principles. In easy-to-understand language for children, we frame these as:
- 1st Principle: We believe that each and every person is important.
- 2nd Principle: We believe that all people should be treated fairly and kindly.
- 3rd Principle: We believe that we should accept one another and keep on learning together.
- 4th Principle: We believe that each person must be free to search for what is true and right in life.
- 5th Principle: We believe that all persons should have a vote about the things that concern them.
- 6th Principle: We believe in working for a peaceful, fair, and free world.
- 7th Principle: We believe in caring for our planet Earth, the home we share with all living things.
