VOTING MEMBERS
In order to vote you must be a member in good standing. In order to be a Voting Member at the 2022 Spring Congregational Meeting, you must meet the following criteria:
* Signed the membership book more than one month ago
* Made a pledge to the Unitarian Church of Lincoln for 2022

If you are unsure whether you are a member in good standing, please contact the church office.

Voting will be open for 48 hours from Sunday, May 22, 2022 at 11:00AM to Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at 11:00AM. Results will be announced in the eblast at 4:00PM on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 and also on Sunday, May 29, 2022 as a part of the Sunday Worship Service.​

We presented information and invited questions at the two Town Halls May 8 and May 15, 2022.

​2021 WINTER​
CONGREGATIONAL MEETING
 

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 12 AT 11:00AM

Senior Minister designation
The Board of Trustees is proposing that we change Rev. Sinclair's title from "Minister" to "Senior Minister" in order to create clearer designations when we bring on other ministers such as future Intern Ministers. This also recognizes his change to full fellowship in our denomination and his work with our community partners such as Lancaster County Faith Coalition.

Suspension of two week notice
The bylaws state that notice of items to be voted upon must be announced two weeks ahead of a Congregational Meeting. We did not have a candidate for nominations committee identified until after this deadline had passed. Therefore the Board of Trustees is asking that members vote to suspend this rule for this meeting only.

Nominations Committee
There is a spot to fill on the nominations committee. Kristi Wamstad has been serving on the nominations committee to fulfill Karen Heafer's position. She is now running for a three year term on the nominations committee.

​OUR ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE
​The Program Council is organized into six Clusters, each of which include many committees and activities. The chairs and task organizers contact information is listed alphabetically by the name of the group or committee in the Committees and Activities Leaders spreadsheet.

BOARD OF TRUSTEES

The Board Trustees are elected to serve three-year terms. ​The Treasurer is appointed to a two-year term.

​The Board of Trustees gathers monthly meeting and Congregational meeting minutes in the Unitarian Church of Lincoln (UCL) - UCL Board Minutes folder.
​

The Board of Trustees identified the following three priorities for the 2021/2022 Church Year: 

1. Deepen Connections and increase engagement within our Church community, including our children, youth, and young adults.

2. Continue engagement with the world through our commitment to dismantle racism, address the effects of climate change, and recertify our LGBTQA+ Welcoming Congregation status.

3. Develop a timeline and funding plan for our building and grounds maintenance and replacement needs

CONGREGATIONAL MEETINGS

The Winter Congregational Meeting is held in early December. The Spring Congregational Meeting is held in mid-May. We precede these meetings with two Town Halls in order to present information and give members an open forum to ask questions. 

When the Board of Trustees sets the dates for these meetings, they are announced through several channels including the newsletter, daily e-blasts and the online calendar in the footer of this website.
