Once a year at our Spring Congregational Meeting, our members vote for ten local organizations (out of three or four dozen that have been nominated) that will receive all designated checks and online/text donations as a part of one service a month during our church year. (When we are in person, this includes all loose cash in the offering plates.) In March/April, we ask members and friends to nominate local organizations that are doing good work in our community on a variety of issues.
