Coffeehouse formed as an open-mic, spotlighting students who would audition and execute acts for example singing, spoken word poetry, monologues and many more. The Learning Commons has been organizing Coffeehouse, where English classes would view the performances over two days while being offered with a selection of hot chocolate or coffee and cookies. Other classes would frequently watch the live stream of Coffeehouse. Coffeehouse was experienced by several and was always planned to. Over the past five years, even so, interest stooped. Then the pandemic strike and putting hundreds of kids into one room was not perfect. The media specialists attempted to assemble a live stream of Coffeehouse, but it didn’t pull much attention. This hardened the decision not to bring it back this year.
