social justice
Our Social Justice Committee promotes UU values by monitoring and advocating for local, national, and global justice issues and collaborating with other faith-based and community-based groups as we work toward a more just and compassionate world.
co-sponsoring a refugee family
The Social Justice Committee is spearheading an effort to co-sponsor a refugee family. The goal is to be "ready to go," which means that we will have gathered all of the items needed, in January 2022. We will extend the timeline if we do not yet have all of the mandatory items. This is a project for the whole church, and your participation is needed.
