The Outreach Cluster demonstrates our UU principles through action-oriented participation in the larger community, region, and nation and invites the community to participate in activities at our church. Responsibilities include:
- Informing the congregation about and organizing opportunities for engagement in local, national, and global environmental and social justice issues
- Providing opportunities to partner with and provide service to community organizations
- Organizing a variety of events (e.g., lectures, films, panel discussions) about relevant topics

Our free lectures strive to provide unbiased information focusing on a different region of the world each year and/or such issues as human rights and poverty.

The Sorensen Lecture Committee is charged with planning an annual lecture of general interest related to a contemporary issue.
