The Outreach Cluster demonstrates our UU principles through action-oriented participation in the larger community, region, and nation and invites the community to participate in activities at our church. Responsibilities include:
- Informing the congregation about and organizing opportunities for engagement in local, national, and global environmental and social justice issues
- Providing opportunities to partner with and provide service to community organizations
- Organizing a variety of events (e.g., lectures, films, panel discussions) about relevant topics

Collaborating with other local groups to monitor social issues and to undertake actions inspired by our church's mission and vision.

Our free lectures strive to provide unbiased information focusing on a different region of the world each year and/or such issues as human rights and poverty.

Community action on environmental justice and effecting decisions about congregational life to protect the environment and address climate change.
DENOMINATIONAL AFFAIRS
Encouraging participation in activities related to the work of the Unitarian Universalist Association.

Joining with St. Paul Methodist Church and First Plymouth Church to offer low-income housing just west of the Capitol Building.
SORENSEN LECTURE SERIES
The Sorensen Lecture Committee is charged with planning an annual lecture of general interest related to a contemporary issue.
