The Outreach Cluster demonstrates our UU principles through action-oriented participation in the larger community, region, and nation and invites the community to participate in activities at our church. Responsibilities include:
  • Informing the congregation about and organizing opportunities for engagement in local, national, and global environmental and social justice issues 
  • Providing opportunities to partner with and provide service to community organizations
  • Organizing a variety of events (e.g., lectures, films, panel discussions) about relevant topics

Joining with St. Paul Methodist Church and First Plymouth Church to offer low-income housing just west of the Capitol Building.

The Sorensen Lecture Committee is charged with planning an annual lecture of general interest related to a contemporary issue.
