Join us on September 23 from 1 - 3 PM at The Unitarian Church of Lincoln 6300 A Street, for ice cream and conversation, as we continue to grow a beloved community with our Omaha UU friends.
This series began on April 8, 2023, with a field trip to the Durham Museum, the Malcolm X Foundation, and then a conversation about racism at Second Unitarian, and continued on July 8 at First Unitarian with a facilitated conversation focusing on family, neighborhood, and community.  On September 23 we'll continue our conversation and we'll end our time together with ice cream.

Are you an award-winning Potluck participant? You can be!

We are having a Potluck Competition to kick-off this year’s Annual Giving Campaign on September 10 after the Sunday service. We will have prizes for Best Improved Previous Potluck dish so everyone has a chance to fix that one disaster they had, as well as the Audience Favorite Potluck dish. And, so all have a chance to win, everyone who brings a dish will be entered into a drawing! No restrictions on number of entries or chefs!

SAVE THE DATE! Our SECOND CHANCE auction will happen November 12 to 19. The bidding will be done in person, not online. We’re goin’ old-school this time. To be successful, we need your donations, so be thinking and planning.
What kind of donations, you ask?
1. Here’s your SECOND CHANCE to offer a meal. Maybe you enjoyed a meal that you purchased at the April auction and have decided you could do that too.
1. Likewise, it’s your SECOND CHANCE to offer a handmade item. Maybe you’ve had time to take a class or start a new hobby or craft and want to share it by donating one of your creations.
2. Also, you’ll have a SECOND CHANCE at offering a Tasty Treat. Maybe you can try out a new recipe or share a family favorite.
So this is your time to be thinking, creating and deciding on what you could offer.
