Each spring our members vote on ten Share the Plate recipients. About once a month we are joined in the pulpit by a representative from one organization to hear more about their recent work. This Sunday we will be joined by a representative who will share information about the Indian Center. We will give them all loose cash and checks with Indian Center in the memo line. You may also give electronically during the month of October. Here are the options: DONATE. When giving, please specify "Share the Plate".
The mission of the Indian Center is "to provide value to the Native American community by creating and obtaining programs that empower self-sufficiency and positive quality of life standards in individuals and families." More information at https://www.indiancenterinc.org. This month's exhibit celebrates the Unitarian Church of Lincoln's (UCL's) continued relationship with the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at UNL.
Many OLLI members have visited 6300 A Street for Sunday services, classes, lectures, and social events. During the month of October, OLLI members will be visiting the Unitarian Church of Lincoln (UCL) to see their artwork. Office Hours: Tuesday through Friday 9AM to 3PM, Sundays 9AM to Noon. October 8, 2023 - 4 - 6 PM - please join us for a "Meet the Artists" reception at UCL.
