150 YEARS OF HISTORY

This month's display in the gallery spans 150 years of our church's history. The Anniversary Committee has put in many hours to find the text, photographs and memorabilia that make up this display. It is not meant to be an exhaustive and detailed history of the church - how could it be? Rather, these are snapshots and samples of the church's life from 1870 to the present. There will even be space for you to add your own remembrances or pieces of forgotten history, as well as printed material for you to take home to read. 

In addition to the gallery show, go to the 150th Anniversary section of the church’s website (look under “About”) and see a timeline with church and world events and listen to the oral histories collected by Judy Hart. The “Fireside Chats” we produced are located on the church’s YouTube channel under “History.”
