• What does the church’s Board of Trustees do?
• What should I look for in a Board candidate? 
• Would I make a good Board Member?

These are great questions, and timely. In May, at our spring congregational meeting, we will be electing three new Board of Trustee members. To get some answers, the Nominations Committee will sponsor an educational forum. 

Current Board members will be on hand to discuss board responsibilities, talk about their personal experiences on the board, and answer your questions. This event is open to all members and friends who want to become more familiar with the board and how it works as well as to those who are considering candidacy. 

(Note: per our bylaws, there is a one-year membership requirement to serve on the Board of Trustees.)
