On Tuesday, August 17 the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department announced that the Covid dial had moved to orange. The ReEntry Task Force met on Wednesday, August 18 to adjust our ongoing response to the pandemic.
Effective Friday, August 20, we are moving Sunday worship online. Sunday School/Religious Growth & Learning (RGL) will continue to be offered online. The church building will be closed while we are in orange or red on the covid dial. Please inform the church office if you have a need to be in the building for contact tracing purposes. Masks are required in the building or on the grounds. All small groups and events can meet on zoom, contact the church office if you need us to provide a Zoom link for your meeting. Also, we have had a breakthrough case in our congregation. This person is vaccinated and has tested positive for the virus. We have informed everyone who could have had contact with this person in our building. This reinforces our desire to keep everyone safe. We encourage you to get vaccinated if you haven't already and to wear masks. The ReEntry Task Force will reassess these guidelines as often as needed to adjust to local and national guidelines. If you have any questions about these measures, please contact the church office at [email protected], and we will direct your question to the ReEntry Task Force. RE-ENTRY TASK FORCE Minister: Rev. Oscar Sinclair Board President: Lori Straatmann Vice-President: Judy Hart Program Council Chair: Karen Heafer Administrative Director: Jean Helms Religious Growth Director: Chelsea Krafka Facilities Cluster Liaison: Jackie Egan
