Thursday, May 4 • 6:30PM (Doors open at 6:00PM) • Lancaster Event Center
On Thursday evening, May 4, more than a hundred members of the Unitarian Church of Lincoln will be joining with congregants of nineteen other Lancaster County faith communities to demonstrate the power of Justice in Action organized people. Two issues will be presented to elected officials, with proposals for specific action that will improve our Lancaster County community: • Criminal Justice Reform: to increase and achieve more equitable participation in diversion programs. • Mental Health: to conquer the maze of mental health resources for those in need. Even if you haven’t participated in any Justice in Action events in the past, you are invited and welcome to attend the Nehemiah Action Assembly. • If you have a ticket, bring it, but you will also be admitted without a ticket. • If you have a Unitarian Church of Lincoln T-shirt, please wear it to show our presence and to help us find each other. For more questions or additional information, connect with any of these Justice in Action Network members: Marcia and Ray Cederdahl , Judy Hart, Jackie Kehl, Judy Kelly, Elle Straatmann, Allison Starr. Will you join us, please?

I am concerned about Caucasians, my Race, consistently overlooking an obvious historical account. First of all, Jesus was God's Hebrew Son; if one were to remove his name and read an account of the harassment by Rome towards Mary and Joseph and afterwards of Jesus by Rome including his whipping and being hung, one would have to question the right of Rome to kill. Even the Ten Commandments were known.
