We are a group of fiber artists working together to expand our knowledge and push the
boundaries of our creativity. We learn, inspire, and support each other in our fiber art endeavors. Fiber Works is comprised of eleven members from eastern Nebraska. At each monthly meeting, we share our latest projects, have workshops to learn new techniques and propose challenges for future exhibitions. Our group has led the Surface Design Technique demonstrations for National Quilting Day, held at the International Quilt Museum several years. We have exhibited at the International Quilt Museum, The Landing and the Bernina Sewing Studio in Lincoln, Jewish Community Center and AccuQuilt Corporate Headquarters in Omaha, Norfolk Art Museum, and the Langworthy Gallery, Seward. We are proud to share our latest works: Chihuly Inspired and Rule of Three at the Unitarian Church of Lincoln. Our members include: Jo Drueke, Sheila Green, Merrilee Hansen, Dorothy Heidemann-Nelson, Cynthia Levis, Roxann O’Hare, Lynne O’Rourke, Cindi Pape, Peg Pennell, Marilyn Rembolt and Pat Stava.
