This month will see the return of a special event that first happened nearly three years ago! It is with great excitement that on May 19 Oscar, the A Street Band, and our affiliated minister Rev. Kimberley Debus will present a progressive tent revival - old school faith meets modern values.
I've spent my entire adult life as a working jazz musician. But, having been born in Kentucky, my early childhood was filled with those old-time hymns and bluegrass favorites. My grandmother used to take us up to the country store in Williamsburg, Kentucky, where we could rifle through various thrifted items and hear the local bluegrass jam. Her radio was always turning out Johnny Cash, the Carter Family, Willie Nelson, Bill Monroe, Flatt & Scruggs, you name it. It's a part of my musical heritage that I hold very close. I hope you'll join us out on the patio on May 19 at 7:00PM for what promises to be a very special evening. See you there! All the best, Bob Fuson DMA Music Director
